For instance, the first format (introduction to statistics,variables, scales of measurement) indicates that it would be difficult to measure the entirepopulation, while the second format (descriptive and inferential statistics) indicates that statisticscan be applied in the determination of the characteristics of the population, but it does not statewhether the population can be measured. Additionally, the two formats have been observed tohave a difference in the manner in which they make presentations on the data. For instance, thefirst format makes a broad description of the data through the analytic process where the firstformat makes a complete discussion on the statistics and the various types of statistics.
