The subject matter is the Addison Russell (Cubs) and Kareem Hunt (Kansas City) issues that have taken place this past week. This is pure PR.
You’ll need to do some research going back to September for Russell and this past week for Hunt, including TMZ.
1. Compare and contrast how each team handled their particular situation from a PR standpoint and why?
2. Examine the press releases issued by the Cubs and by Russell. Give your opinion on how they handled the situation from a PR standpoint.
3. Specifically discuss how you would have done things differently with the release. I’m not asking about changing the decision the Cubs made, but rather how they worded the release.
