Criticism is something that is a part of everyday life. Criticism is defined as the expression of disapproval of someone or something based on perceived faults or mistakes. Criticism is inevitable. All people are different so some people may be more critical than others. Criticism is important because we definitely need to know how to do our job correctly because we are dealing with other people’s lives. We work individually and in a team so criticism is bound to happen maybe even more often than we would like or expect. It can come from our superiors on what we need to improve on to do our job more efficiently, hopefully from a mentor who has an opinion we value, or even from the parent or patient.
