A strong data communication system relies on many factors. In
addition to the individual components of which it is made, it
relies on and is propelled by networking systems. In this
assignment, you will look at a real-life example of a data
communication system.
Refer to the “Case Study: Data Communication at Walmart” on
pages 134-135 of your textbook as you complete this assignment.
Write a paper that includes the following components:
- Answer Questions 1-4 on page 134,
- Assess what the likely components of Walmart’s system are.
- Explain how various networking concepts (bandwidth, routing,
routers, and the client/server model) either are being or could be
used to meet Walmart’s networking needs.
Assignment should be three to four pages in length.
