Formal Business Report Assignment
Format: 10 pages, TNR 12pt Font, 1 inch margins, single-spaced.
Assignment:
- Research a large company (100+ employees)
- Draft a formal research report (informational report) on the company. Include all formal business report components we discussed in class and the reading.
- 8 page rough draft is due Thursday, Nov. 19.
Draft Reports

Read through the reports. Look good so far. The main two areas I'm having issues with are: (i) need to be comprehensive (too much time spent on a few select topics, e.g. "company history", "leadership", etc); (ii) need to revise each paragraph for clarity, brevity, and grammar.
For the remainder of the Holiday, please continue to research, continue to write. This is a good start but not anywhere close to where we want to be. Take each paragraph and work on it separately. When you come to class Tuesday, please print out new copies with revisions (also include revisions from Bloch Communications
