According to OKeeffe,(2015), Australian Human Rights Commission conducted a study that showed that 27% ofAustralians of 50 years and above had experienced workplace discrimination, escalating to 32%for people of ages 60-64. The study also showed that 33% of individuals that had beendiscriminated stopped looking for jobs as a result of the unfair treatment.
